I've done a lot of print work and am currently working on expanding my horizons on the web front. I'm a big fan of simple, practical design, especially for websites. I don't have much patience for wild-goose chases accross the internet - I expect to find what I'm looking for quickly, in logically laid out categories, which are broken down into managable chunks. And I know other people are the same way. Usability is key, however I will not sacrifice beauty on the altar of practicality. There is no reason a website can't be both good looking and functional. Those are the standards I hold myself to and it's what I expect from any professionally designed site.
